Jens
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Jens is a personal sales coaching product. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you use Jens as an individual user in Canada or the United States. It is written for an early product release and may evolve as Jens develops.
Account information
When you create an account, authentication is handled by Clerk. Jens receives identifiers and profile details needed to run your account (such as your Clerk user id, and your name and email when provided by Clerk).
Conversation history
Jens stores your conversation history so coaching can continue across sessions. That includes messages you send, replies Jens generates, and related thread metadata (for example titles, workflow labels, and filenames you attach).
Sales content you submit
You may submit sales conversations, call transcripts, notes, deal context, and documents. Jens processes that content to provide coaching. You are responsible for only submitting information you are allowed to use with a coaching tool.
AI processing
To generate coaching, Jens currently sends relevant conversation and document text to OpenAI. See AI & Data for a clearer explanation of what is sent, what is stored, and what happens to uploaded files.
Operational and usage information
Jens records limited operational information to run and improve the service — for example whether an AI request succeeded, model and token usage estimates, latency, and high-level error summaries. This operational ledger is designed not to store your prompts, transcripts, or coaching replies.
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Authenticate you and provide the Jens product
- Deliver coaching with conversation continuity
- Process documents and transcripts you attach
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service
- Respond to support requests you initiate
Staff access to conversations
Jens personnel do not casually inspect private user conversations or transcripts. Product admin tools are built so staff see operational metadata, not message contents. If access to conversation content is ever required for support, it should happen only with your explicit permission.
Retention
Conversation content is retained while your account remains active so Jens can provide continuity. You can delete individual conversations in the product. You can also delete your account, which removes or anonymizes associated Jens application data as described in Settings.
Original uploaded document files are processed to extract text and are not retained as permanent file storage in the current architecture. Extracted text that you send with a message may remain in conversation history until you delete that conversation or your account.
Support and requests

Changes
We may update this policy as Jens develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Jens after changes means you accept the updated policy.
